Breast reduction, also known as reduction mammoplasty, is a surgical procedure to reduce the size, weight, and volume of the breasts. It involves removing excess fat, glandular tissue, and skin to create a breast size more in proportion with the body and to relieve physical discomfort.

Breast reduction is typically performed to:

How the Procedure Works:

• Anesthesia: The patient is put under general anesthesia.

• Reshaping: The remaining breast tissue is lifted and reshaped. The nipple may be repositioned.
