The Federation for Development of Accreditation Services (FDAS) is a non-profit organization in India dedicated to accrediting CABs/Laboratories. Registered under the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act on March 27, 2019, FDAS follows ISO/IEC 17011:2017 standards. It provides accreditation to Test, Calibration, and Medical laboratories according to international standards like ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ISO 15189:2022, and ILAC/APAC norms. Achieving APAC MRA and ILAC MRA Signatory status in 2023, FDAS ensures global recognition for its accredited laboratories. FDAS was established to support India’s vast network of laboratories and contribute to the nation’s economic growth by enhancing laboratory standards.
