Metal Brackets are uncommon Mechanical and Electrical components that can be useful for project progression in ARC Raiders. When gathering ARC Raiders Items, these brackets are worth picking up because they are required for Stage 3 of the Converging Paths project. They also have another use after that requirement is finished, as extra brackets can be recycled into Metal Parts.

The main trick is knowing which objects deserve your attention. Metal Brackets can be found through vehicle breaches and certain industrial or electrical containers, while Stella Montes has its own useful mechanical targets. With a focused route, you can spend less time checking random containers and more time collecting the components you actually need.

Visit the Electrical Substation First

Dam Battlegrounds is a practical starting point for a Metal Bracket run. The Electrical Substation can be found south or southwest of the Power Generation Complex, close to the area where the Matriarch spawns.

Behind the substation fence, look for a white hatchback. Breach the hood of this car to access its loot. This vehicle can consistently provide around one to three Metal Brackets, along with Light Bulbs, making it a particularly convenient stop when you need a small amount for your current project.

The area is not completely safe, though. Aerial threats such as Rocketeers and Wasps may be active nearby. It is worth checking your surroundings before starting the breach so you are not caught concentrating on the vehicle while enemies are approaching.

Make Vehicles Part of Your Route

If the hatchback does not provide everything you need, continue checking vehicles instead of immediately moving to unrelated containers. Dam Battlegrounds has several useful options around its extraction areas.

At the northernmost extraction point, inspect cars and buses. Car seats can contain useful loot, while the rear and luggage compartments of buses can be breached for additional opportunities. Players with a scavenging skill that provides extra loot from breaching may find buses particularly worthwhile during repeated runs.

Blue Gate also offers a vehicle-based alternative. Underground tunnels and garage sections contain parked cars that can be breached. Adding these vehicles to your normal exploration route can make resource gathering more efficient because you do not need to travel across the entire map solely for Metal Brackets.

Look for Industrial Equipment

Vehicles are only one part of the search. Industrial and electrical equipment can also be valuable sources, especially when you are already exploring areas filled with machinery.

Keep an eye out for yellow generators, breaker boxes, and wall-mounted wiring panels. The Control Tower and Power Generation Complex on Dam are useful areas to inspect for these types of objects.

Green mechanical cabinets provide another option. Breachable consoles and tool benches inside the Water Treatment Control and Primary Facility can be included in your route. Rather than opening every available container, prioritize recognizable mechanical and electrical objects to keep your search focused.

Explore Stella Montes for Rovers

Stella Montes gives you another way to collect Metal Brackets. Sandbox Area A and the Robotic Sandbox are worth visiting because they contain small rover vehicles that can be breached.

These machines have a compact, forklift-like design, making them relatively easy to identify once you know what to look for. Check their rear panels during your route, as breaching them can produce the brackets you need.

The Stella Seed Vault is also worth remembering. Small components can appear around this location, so it can be combined with rover searches when you want to collect several types of resources during one expedition.

Build Around Your Project Needs

A good Metal Bracket run does not have to be complicated. Start with the Electrical Substation hatchback on Dam, then check nearby vehicles and industrial equipment if you still need more. On Blue Gate, focus on cars in underground areas, while Stella Montes offers rover vehicles as an alternative source.

After completing the Converging Paths requirement, extra brackets can still be useful because they can be recycled into Metal Parts. This means collecting a few additional pieces does not necessarily leave you with completely unwanted inventory.
