Every couple seconds it feels like the storm “catches” and the boss’ health starts sliding instead of ticking. Keeping Rage up matters, and the form swapping isn’t cosmetic. If you’re sloppy, the damage drops and you feel it right away.

Leveling and early defenses
Early campaign can be rough. Druids can feel paper-thin until you stop pretending damage is the only stat. Bastion of the Forest early is a big deal, and Cloak of Flame around Act 6 is the kind of pickup that saves you from random physical spikes because of the conversion to fire. Once you hit maps and pivot into Shaman, the build finally “locks in.” Avatar of Evolution making your physical damage roll into random elements is huge for output, and Reactive Growth gives you that steady toughness so red maps don’t turn into a death montage.

Gear pressure and the real grind
The only downside is the shopping list. If you want comfy Uber attempts, you’re not doing it on bargain-bin gear. You want serious attack speed on the weapon, and Soul Tether is basically the comfort blanket because overleech into ES smooths out so many scary moments. I funded most of it by chaining Essences and Delirium, but crafting can still feel like lighting currency on fire.
